The toilet to the room, excellent
That at two o'clock in the morning the window of my room was opened and clumsy receptionist didn't know how to fix it and walked around looking for another room, instead of giving me something better for the trouble, he took me to a smaller room, with a much smaller bed and his sheets smelled bad, I told him that, he smelled them and his answer was that he was an athlete and had a good smell and bed was fine, bad in customer service! Basic rule, customer is always right! I had to extend my stay at the hotel and I only did it for the cleaning lady, it's a pleasure to smell the room. you go down to the restaurant and guy is there, you are a vase, you do not exist, you do not attend or offer anything, when the lady is there, nothing to say excellent treatment. They have good staff and others who sincerely need URGENT training.

Its ancient majesty is now being recovered.
attention of the restaurant/confeteria outside the hours of the excellent breakfast. Since a hotel that boasts 5* can NOT tell you on a Sunday before a holiday, at about 23:30 hours, "that if I want something to eat, then they would use the agreement they have with the Grill on the corner, as we only wanted a couple of infusions, then it would NOT be possible to meet our order as the sector in question closed at 21:00 hours, " and obviously, they do not offer electric kettle or complimentary infusions! On the other hand, room and bathroom could be noticed that they had been restored, they "forgot" to change the bathtub in the room we were in, since it looks (it would be: "dazzle") with the new layer of skipped enamel and its rusty drain, (see the photo of it in the Item "Foyer").

The hotel is beautiful, faithful to the internal and external photos. The staff in the hall, toilet and swimming pool are very friendly and cortez, in general everything is fine. The breakfast has everything and very good. The location is exceptional, near the great attractions of downtown B. Aires! The price/quality ratio is remarkable.
Just to mention as a detail that the hotel does not focus so much on leisure tourists but rather on business trips, at breakfast it was a bit too much corporate atmosphere, in turn was also validated by the behavior of the breakfast staff, was a bit serious. An example of this is in the breakfast of the third day, I and my girlfriend arrived greeting all the staff, one of them, somewhat surprised by this attitude, asks us the room number in a somewhat rude way and without preamble. one is on vacation, details like this make the stay and trip a little uncomfortable. Finally it is not something negative but related to the focus of the hotel.

Greatly enjoyed absolutely fantastic breakfast, recently refurbished and good sized room.
Our room had a large bed and an absolutely stunning view. Also, location was particularly good and incredible, within a close distance from Obelisco.

It is a classic hotel with a very good location and staff from all sectors is excellent. The room is comfortable. bathroom is very spacious with an incredible shower, wifi connection is very good. breakfast is very varied and abundant. staff constantly replenished the products that were consumed, Everything is very tasty. especially the croissants and fruit chosen, despite not consuming the salty foods looked very tempting, infusions of the acceptable machines.
For breakfast they offer machine infusions, I prefer the classic, more artisanal coffee . I had read that the room I chose had ironing elements, it's important if the trip is for work or for a social event plus if it's a 5 star hotel. I think the hotel staff would have solved it if I had asked for it. In spite of the excellent location (half a block from Florida Street and two blocks from Galerías Pacífico), this sector of Tucumán Street is not pleasant, but that is not what the hotel is about, just to comment.

breakfast was very complete and rich. location of the hotel is excellent, half a block from Florida Street. I asked for a change of room and staff solved the problem very kindly.
Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was assigned a room that did not fit into the "superior room" category. It was too small, with the door next to the bed and a bathroom that was too old, besides giving the window to a patio, I really didn't like what I was paying for, it was depressing. When I complained about the category of the room I had hired, they changed me to a room that faced the front and had a floating floor. At the time of the claim, another guest had done the same. The new room assigned to me was very nice, much bigger, with a very comfortable bed and better pillows. But the air conditioning, which is central, was not warm; consequently, I was cold while I was in the room. Waiting for the elevator to get to the ground floor takes a long time.

The attention of the staff
I was waiting for the New Year's Eve dinner, party, there was no atmosphere, no music, at 10:50 we ended up alone with my daughter having the coffee we had to request, at the bar, they told us there was no toast, staff kindly offered us a bottle to consume in the room, invitation to the dinner was a toast with petit fours and coffee, it was logical to assume that on December 31 the toast would be at 00:00. only choice of pork dish for chicken was a grilled breast, zero gourmet. Had I known, despite the several e-mails I sent requesting information, New Year's Eve dinner would have hired her at the corner that there was a restaurant with a theme dinner, cotillion party and joy even after one o'clock in the morning of the new year. good hotel, old construction but well located. I wish I knew what standards a passenger has when he hires a 5 star hotel, because while it was not bad and employees were excellent, $ 8100 for a night with a mediocre dinner seems to me bad value for money.

It was a prime choice for a weekend adventure in Buenos Aires with very good value for money. The staff was friendly and helpful, made our stay comfortable. Make sure to ask for a room overlooking the pool for a nice view.

The name and the ubication
The hotel was a mess. Everything look very old and deteriorated; the bed was very inconfortable; small, lower. The closet narrows. To expensive for such decadent hotel

In general the hotel was very nice. Located for easy shopping and resturants. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was more than adequate.
The air condiditioning did not work. This hotel would be very uncomfortable during the summer!
